With the Kingston 2, Lakai updates the classic design of the original and adds increased ventilation and a soft terry cloth inner lining. Lakai seems to show again and again that they know comfort, and the Kingston 2 fully follows this tradition. Features of the Kingston 2 include: Perforated panels for increased ventilation, Soft terry cloth inner lining, Interlocking breathable mesh tongue, durable Suede, Nubuck or Soft Action Leather upper, Optional hidden lace protection, Shock absorbing gel heel cushioning, and Flexible cup sole w/ EVA midsole.
Lakai Limited Footwear
Basted out of Torrance, California, Lakai started life back in 1999 when fellow Girl team skaters and co-owners Mike Carroll and Rick Howard felt that the could make a contribution to the skate shoe world. Lakai released its first video in 2002 called "Beware of the Flare" which was mainly made up for footage from the Lakai tours and their first full length feature film "Fully Flared" was put out in 2007. Lakai's Fully Flared went on to win the Best Video Award from The Skateboard Mag and Transworlds Best Video Award.
