Boneless Knee Pads
Boneless Pads is a long?standing American skateboard protective gear brand, best known for its innovative knee and elbow pads designed specifically for skateboarding. Founded in the late 1980s, All of the company’s pads are made in the USA, reflecting a commitment to quality and durability that has lasted for decades.
Boneless Pads began in 1989 with a simple goal: to create protective gear that actually worked for skateboarders. Before Boneless, most kneepads were flat and tended to slide down during use, leaving skaters vulnerable to injury. Boneless revolutionised this with pre?bent, articulated designs that stayed securely in place and offered superior impact protection, quickly gaining traction among professionals.
By the early 1990s, top skaters were wearing Boneless pads during some of the it's most iconic moments, including Tony Hawk’s first 900 at the X Games and Danny Way’s legendary feats, demonstrating how essential quality protection had become as skateboarding grew.
Over the years, Boneless has maintained its reputation by blending thoughtful design with rugged performance, appealing to both beginners and seasoned veterans. Its pads remain widely respected for comfort, durability, and effectiveness, proving that protective gear can be both functional and embraced by the skate community rather than sidelined as merely safety equipment.
