Skateboard Griptape
Welcome to our Griptape department. We stock a wide variety of skateboard griptape from brands such as Jessup, Mob Grip, Grizzly Grip and Shake Junt. Most sheets of griptape are 9" x 33" so will cover a regular popsicle shaped deck easily if under 9.0" wide. If you're riding a wider or longer deck you might need to put a gap in it.
Replacing the griptape on your skateboard is pretty easy. The best way that we have found to remove the old grip tape is by using a hair dryer to soften the glue. Heat it up at one end and peel it slowly while moving the heat upwards in the direction you are pulling. After that just line up the sheet on your deck and slowly apply it from one end trying not to get any air bubbles in it. Then just trim it neatly with a razor blade and sand the edges. If you do get any air bubbles, just pop them with a pin or the edge of the razor blade and press it down.
