Hardbody Skateboards was founded in 2016 by NYC skate videographer Emilio Cuilan, emerging from aftermath of his now iconic New York skate video 'DANY'. With a “less is more” philosophy, Hardbody’s minimalist graphics and clean aesthetic provide a striking contrast to the chaotic designs often seen in skate culture today, allowing the skating take center stage.
Currently, Hardbody boasts two main pros, each a powerhouse in their own right. Antonio Durao, a Long Island native with Portuguese roots, delivers boundless pop with his spring-loaded legs, making towering ledges look as effortless as skating a simple curb. Complementing him is Hjalte Halberg, formerly of Polar Skateboards and co-owner of the Danish brand Dancer, who brings a raw, uncut energy. Together, they perfectly embody Hardbody.
