5BORO Skateboards isn’t a new brand by any stretch, it was founded way back in 1996 by NYC native Steve Rodriguez alongside Mark Nardelli. Born and built in New York City, 5BORO reflects the gritty, street-level culture of all five boroughs; Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island, drawing directly from Rodriguez’s life and experiences growing up skating the city. With a distinct visual identity across its decks and apparel, and a commitment to representing East Coast skateboarding in a skate scene long dominated by the West Coast, Fiveboro Skateboards has grown into one of the most respected and popular skate brands to emerge from New York.
