Founded back in 2002 by pro-skater Keith Hufnagle, the skateboard clothing company HUF started life as as skate shop in the Bay Area of San Francisco. Hufnagle wanted to create a skateboard shop that brought together the very best in clothing, footwear, hardware and accessories. It wasn’t too long before the HUF store became one of the Bay Area’s go-to skateboard shops for those hard to find products. Since its humble beginnings HUF has grown in to one of the biggest clothing and footwear brands in skateboarding.
With the popularity of the store growing Keith ceased the opportunity to start his own line of clothing which fused the shop and the clothing as one label, Huf which he felt that truly represented skateboarding, streetwear and skate shoes. Its been almost 10 years since its creation and Huf clothing had became know as a premium brand in the world of skateboarding and although much has changed in past decade Hufnagel still sticks to his core values and beliefs that have drove him and that is that skateboarding is more a way of life that a simple hobby or sport. Skateboarding is a collaboration between artists, photographers, musicians, filmers and many other types of creative individual that is driven by the idea of creative freedom. He tries to express those beliefs through the clothing collection that is Huf.
