Polar Skate Co is a truly global skateboard company that is based in Malmö, Sweden. The multi national team is made up of skateboarders from Denmark, France, Denmark, USA and is headed up by Swedish pro Pontus Alv. Pontus is more than a skater he is a film maker, editor, art director and illustrator, all of which he brings to the Polar Skateboards aesthetic along with the art work its co founder Stefan Narancic. The brand has a distinct look that is instantly recognisable that stand out from all of the other decks on the walls of the worlds skate shops.
Polar sprang from the truly strange, genius mind of Swedish Pro Skateboarder Pontus Alv. What started as a few small web promo videos quickly evolved into one of the hottest properties in skateboarding. The skating and art direction really gave it a life of it's own and helped elavate it to it's superior status. Now a fully fledged skateboard company, Polar have a super cool team and make a quality line of apparel as well as their skateboard decks.
