10 Jessup Griptape

Jessup’s grip has been number one since day one. Founded in 1956 to produce industrial adhesives, the company moved into the skateboard market in 1975. Thanks to employee Bud Smith, who spotted a gap in the rapidly growing skate industry, Jessup was the first to introduce silicon carbide griptape, a product that would become a staple for skateboarders worldwide.
