Venture Trucks is an iconic American skateboard truck company that emerged in the mid?1980s in San Francisco, California, born from the Ermico foundry led by Fausto Vitello of Independent Trucks fame. Originally introduced as a lighter, more street?oriented alternative to existing truck brands, Venture quickly gained traction as skateboarding shifted toward street skating—helped in part by early adopters like Mark Gonzales riding and endorsing their trucks.
Built with simplicity, functionality, and performance in mind, Venture’s lightweight yet stable truck designs especially the early low?profile models—made them a favourite among street skaters looking for reliable pop and grind response without unnecessary weight.
Over the years, Venture has supported a strong team of professional skateboarders, including Paul Rodriguez, Torey Pudwill, Stefan Janoski, Felipe Gustavo, Keelan Dadd, Kevin Romar, Sewa Kroetkov, Morgan Smith, Rodrigo “TX” Teixeira, Stevie Williams, Terry Kennedy, and many more who embody the brand’s street?focused ethos.
Today, Venture Trucks remains a respected name in skateboarding, known for producing reliable, performance?driven trucks that appeal to street and flatground skaters alike. The brand continues to evolve with new models and team riders while staying true to its roots as a staple of skate hardware and culture.
