Lakai Limited Footwear have been around since 1999 and were founded by skateboarders Rick Howard and Mike Carrol. Over the years Lakai have made some great skate shoes and also put out some of the best skateboard video's all with names based around their 'Flare' side logo. Founded way back in 1999 by long term friends Mike Carrol and Rick Howard, Lakai Footwear has strong ties to the Girl and Chocolate Skateboards camp. With a Company strap line of "The Shoes We Skate..." Lakai design and manufacture a great range of shoes with skateboarding in mind. Their Flare logo is instantly recognisable and has been been a running theme in all of their skateboard videos that they've produced such as 'Fully Flared', 'The Flare', Beware Of The Flare' etc. Lakai boast a heavy team of respected skateboarders as their endorsed riders such as Rick Howard, Mike Carroll, Vincent Alvarez, Riley Hawk, Stevie Perez, Griffin Gass, Simon Bannerot and many more.
