Product Roundup – 27/05/2016
Quasi – Drop 2 has arrived and has been kept small and simple with one new tee and only a select few deck graphics, they do however come on a full range of sizes going from 8.0’’ to 8.75’’. In keeping with their rather quirky style the shapes are chunky and feature a slightly squared off nose & tail, rose petals have also been sealed into the shrink wrap along with the deck.
Other Wood – If you don’t fancy grabbing yourself one of the new Quasi decks then we have plenty more in this week that might catch your eye. First off we have the ‘In Trouble’ series from Krooked and a standalone Pro graphic for Cromer called ‘Staring Contest’ that measures in at the bestselling size of 8.25’’ wide. If you’re after a new shaped cruiser deck then this week’s offerings from Elephant Brand and Birdhouse are the ones for you, the birdhouse Tony Hawk ‘McSqueeb’ looks very reminiscent of an OG Powell Peralta and would be spot on for ripping up a pool on. For any fans of Dinosaur Jr. out there we’ve just got in a super limited edition deck from the guys over at 1939 Skateboards which is an official Collaboration and features artwork by Arik Roper; a must have for any fan. Finally for this week’s wood drop we have something very special in from Antihero; their take on a classical painting….featuring Jeff Grosso, get yourself over to it on the website and check it out.
Thunder – They are the self-proclaimed leaders in control and we can’t really argue with that as the trucks sell day in day out with zero complaints….fresh in this week are 3 new models to add to the already huge selection, we have the ‘New Wave White’, ‘New Wave Black’ and the ‘Coral Light’. The Coral Light Trucks are some of the top end product they have to offer with a hollow kingpin, True Fit bushings and a hollowed out forge steel baseplate. All three trucks are 147 Hi’s and are suitable for decks ranging from 7.75’’ to 8.25’’.
Footwear – Huf have dominated the footwear delivery this week with one new model and five fresh new colourways. The Standout from the bunch though has to be the new Dylan Slip On; a sleek, stylish and simple looking shoe featuring a full suede upper, vulc sole unit and small Huf & Dylan detailing. Also one to take note of is the Classic Lo ESS, one of our bestselling Huf shoes in a clean new colourway of Black/White with white stitching. For anyone that missed the Palace X Adidas drop last week we also have a very small limited number of the shoes left, grab them while you can.
Wheels – The official Spitfire X Adidas wheels are finally here to coincide with the imminent release of the ‘Away days’ video. Busentiz, Silas and Donnelly have all been given a limited edition colour up of their Pro Formula Four wheels ranging from 52mm-53mm and have durometer of 99-101D. Heroin released a new wheel this week for the first time in a long while, the DMODW green wheels are slightly softer than your average wheel coming in at 95A making them a soft smooth ride but still have the ability to powerslide.
Softgoods – In this week we have a re-stock on the ever popular Nermal pocket T-shirts from Rip n Dip and more clothing from The National Skateboard Co. featuring a handful of new designs and old favourites in some bright summer colours. The hot pick from the National drop has to be the Pink Long sleeve; it’s very on trend and already selling fast. It’s been a while since we freshened things up on the Native clothing line so we have a few new graphics in the works but to keep you going until they’re ready we’ve re-stocked on the white, black and grey OG Logo tees along with now doing it in burgundy and the Eagle tee in forest green.
Accessories – The weather has been terrible the past week but we’re due a heat wave and hopefully the real start of summer over the weekend so get looking at our huge range of sunglasses which has recently been topped up with new Glassy Sunhaters shades which feature Polarized lenses.
