This Weeks New Product Roundup! – 01/07/2016

Becky Factory has landed here at Native HQ; the NYC based brand is helmed by Eli Reed and comes from the creative mind of filmmaker Sam Salganik. Everything in the first drop is verging on a retro style and fits right into what’s on trend right now in Skateboarding.  The select T-Shirt in the drop features a small left chest and back graphic and is also available in long sleeve version complete with sleeve prints.  The decks themselves are a standard popsicle shape and come in varying sizes over 8.0’’ wide.

Primitive comes in hot this week with a killer ‘Biggie’ inspired capsule of goodies, there’s various tees and a set of decks with the big man himself featuring in the artwork. The decks themselves have been selling fast and are only available in limited numbers worldwide, so once they’re gone they’re gone. Also in from Primitive are a small selection of caps, we have a trucker and the new in style curved peak strapbacks. Sticking at that end of the skateboarding spectrum we also have plenty of new garments in from both Diamond Supply Co. and Grizzly. Both companies have dropped a healthy selection of T-Shirts and hoods with a few caps and beanies mixed in there.

Lakai’s summer range is starting to work its way in at the moment and we like what we’re seeing so far, their Griffin and Fura models get fresh new colourways and they introduce new model the ‘Fremont’ to the roster. The Fremont is their most advanced shoe to date; designed completely with functionality in mind it features a durable suede upper, neoprene slip-on collar, super grippy cupsole with flex zones, durable runner outsole and shock absorbing insole making it an all-round great shoe. Not to be out shone Nike have also released a new shoe model this week, the Janoski Hyperfeel is here and is next in the line for Stefan’s pro shoe. It follows in the footsteps of the Koston and Bruin and takes its classic suede upper and places it snuggly on top of the Hyperfeel sole unit, it also features their lunarlon sock liner and Zoom cushioning. On top of this we also received a full re-stock in the Janoski OG, Corey Kennedy’s pro shoe the All Court in Black/White and the Janoski Max in Black/White.

This week’s wood is heavily dominated by the well-known big time American brand Deathwish, they come in with 2 full new series, several one off graphics, sick new colours for their classic spray and gang logo decks and of course some Collabo boards with Sex Skateboards aptly names Sex Wish. WKND also bring the goods this week with a few one off graphics and of course Austyn Gillette’s’ debut Pro model decks.

To finish off this week we have the new Thrasher mag in and we also have a handful of copies of local Adam Todhunter’s new zine Domesday, the zine is packed full of rad photos and interviews including one with the now London based ripper Will Creswick, Newcastle OG Bish and of course Ross Zajac. Each copy of the mag comes with a sticker and there is also a video to accompany it, check it out below……
