This Weeks New Product Roundup! – 05/08/2016
Thrasher’s summer collection is finally here; it’s bright, colourful and even has wolves in it. The drop consists of a selection of tees, hoods and plenty of headwear; this stuff is super limited so once it’s gone it’s gone. The standout of the collection by far has to be the tie dye 13 wolves t-shirt and hood, both garments are full black tie dye with large front chest graphics. Polar summer also arrived this week it’s full of stripes, mock necks, embroided logos and trendy lightweight coach jackets amongst all the usual stroke logo goodness. The coach jackets aren’t going to keep you dry in a storm but they’ll be perfect for those light summer showers; plus they look too rad not to buy. Polar also added to their already killer range of headwear with a selection of fully adjustable strapbacks, including some strong summer colours in there. Lastly for clothing this week the guys over at Weekend have brought the goods with a few simple logo t-shirts and caps with the homies at Emerica bringing you some fine flannel, zip up hoods and plenty of snapbacks.
The footwear department this week took delivery of New Balance which includes arguably their techest shoe to date; I think they themselves even describe it as unashamedly tech. The shoe is the 868 it features a suede and synthetic upper, C-Cap Midsole, Fantom Tape and New Balance’s N2 running technology for stability and impact Protection. If you have the guys Arto and PJ backing this shoe then you know it’s going to be good. As well as some new colourups in the Quincy and PJ’s pro shoe the Stratford we have another new one the 598, the shoe features a single piece toe, suede upper, cup sole and PU inserts for impact protection.
Probably one of the most random collabs arrived this week, it’s a little bit of a banger though; Primitive Skateboarding has reached right back into the depths of your childhood and to bring you a full range of official Transformers inspired graphics. The series features artwork heavily inspired by the 80’s movie and includes the main villain Unicron looming in the background. A small set of pin badges is also available from this collection.
This week’s wood isn’t only from Primitive we also have The National Skateboard Co. holding it down and building on the hype of their recently released video. Their new series keeps to their usual art direction keeping things clean, simple and safe with each of their riders getting a graphic including Josh ’Manhead’ Young getting his debut Pro boards. Our good friend Michiel Walrave has been at it again and we proudly bring you our newest deck The Creep, it comes in a blue and purple stain with each colour representing the board’s size; 8.0’’ & 8.25’’respectively.
An insane amount of wheels have turned up this week with something for everyone! First off we have SML coming in with a selection of multiple shapes and sizes, Spitfire with the usual Formula Fours, Girl & Chocolate with ones to accompany their new board graphics and Ricta dropping the new 97A ATF Clouds; we’re super stoked on these. Clouds are our best selling soft wheel here in store and Ricta have upped their game offering you a full new range of sizes. They are 97A in durometer, have a solid plastic core and are feature a chunkier profile making this ideal for shredding, cruising and filming.
This week’s weekend hype clip comes courtesy of Heath Kirchart and his Hammers Hall Of Fame section; all of his best footage in one place.
