Product Roundup! – 04/10/2016

Almost Skateboards have delved deep into your childhood and plucked out the most unlikely of cartoons to borrow for their new line of decks; we have Tom & Jerry, Top Cat, Yogi Bear and Droopy as well as Captain Caveman and the rest of the Wacky Races crew. On top of this new series we also have all the usual tongue in cheek one off graphics and straight forward logo boards. Also on the deck front his week we’ve got piles of wood from the homies over at DGK, Primitive, Girl, Chocolate and WkND with a whole bunch more Santa Cruz old skool decks on top of that. My pick of the bunch though would have to either be the Girl Hoawrd 93 til infinity custom shaped deck with its slightly pointed nose and square tail or the DGK Kalis Ripping deck; a sick take on a classic graphic.

Footwear this week resides in the realms of gnarly with Emerica pumpin out the goods hot off the release of their spectacular new video Made chapter 2. We have the Reynolds Low Vulc back as well as two new colour-ways of Figueroa with one of them being done in collaboration with Hard Luck. Something for all the sneakers heads as well this week with the slightly later than expected release of the new limited Dunk Low from Nike SB in Safety Orange, this shoe comes from a new line of footwear inspired by the original SB boxes; more to follow soon so keep those eyes peeled…..The shoe itself features a full leather upper with an embossed insignia sitting atop of that comfy classic dunk sole.

Our two main soft-goods deliveries this week come from two very different companies one being WKND the other DGK. WKND come through with simple graphics, long sleeve tees, crews and a bunch of pullover hoods. Whereas DGK have went for those big in your face graphics, tonal hoods and lightweight windbreaker jackets. A few smaller deliveries have also made their way in this week from the likes of Vans (mostly caps, beanies and backpacks), Altamont (small collection of tees and headwear) and Primitive (tees, hoods and headwear).

The Truck department  got a much needed restock after a mad weekend of sales and we have all the old faithful back in stock and ready for you to shred as well as 3 new trucks from the guys over at Thunder. The Hollow Light Tonal Elite range brings elegance to the truck market with the all over tonal filigree pattern, don’t let the looks fool you though this is a seriously tough truck and super light thanks to the hollow forged kingpin and axle.

To wrap it up this week we ask you to sit back, relax and take in this truly amazing and inspirational skateboarder.

RIP Dylan
