Powell Andy Anderson Heron 2 Egg Shaped Flight Skateboard Deck

Andy Anderson’s custom shape Powell Peralta Heron Skull skateboard deck has been one of our most sought after skateboard decks in recent years. Andy and Powell had put a lot of work into developing the shape, the first version of it was only available on Powell’s Flight construction making numbers of it even more limited and harder to get a hold of.

Andy has been working away at a new shape since then and his latest shape the Heron 2 (Shape No. 301)  has just been unveiled. It is a symmetrical Egg shaped deck, 8.7″ wide and 32.3″ long deck with a slightly longer 14.5″ wheelbase. Measuring 8.5″ over both trucks it’s egged rails mean that it should roll instead of smash into the ground and evade chips and dings. In fact it is completely curved so should be much less prone to chipping on impact with flat surfaces. Its twinned stub nose and tail make it ideal for pogos and caspers and it has a shorter distance between the truck holes and the kick to help with higher pop. The special Powell Flight construction gives it everlasting pop that won’t break.
